Building cultures of respect and equal opportunity is not a cause for women to champion alone, and the data supports that businesses benefit when women are at the table. Real change in advancing female talent and closing gender disparities requires that men are invited into the conversation and in true allyship with women. Men also benefit from help navigating the ever changing and more challenging landscape driven by movements like #MeToo and #TimesUp.
Join us and bring a male peer/ally from your firm or circle of influence. This interactive discussion is designed to help you and your male guest(s):
- Understand why this matters to your organization’s success
- Discover the role of “privilege” and unconscious bias in gender inequity
- Learn what it means to be an ally and live it
- Become more aware of the micro-aggressions that occur and comfortable with the necessary, yet sometimes difficult conversations that need to happen
- Identify next steps to engage more allies in the change
This discussion is being hosted by Executive Women in Finance and will be delivered by Integrating Women Leaders’ (IWL’s) CEO, Kim Graham Lee, whose impressive career includes c-suite leadership across a variety of industries. Kim will be joined by Mike Messaglia, Managing Partner of Krieg DeVault, who is leading the law firm with intention around building greater inclusion and diversity.

More about Kim Graham Lee
CEO
Integrating Women Leaders Foundation

Kim has a diverse business background including c-level leadership of start-up and growth companies and account management for some of the largest corporations in the world. She spent the first chapter of her career at Walker, a global marketing research firm, where she led client service teams, global marketing and sales and new product development. During that time, Kim identified her professional passion as helping grow other “good businesses.”
For much of the past 15 years, she has led emerging Indiana-based companies primarily in the technology space. Her “tours of duty” include serving as the CEO of Vontoo, President of OneBridge, President of Huford Financial Advisors, CMO of Bluelock, Interim CEO of NPower Indiana and Executive Vice President of trueU.
Kim transitioned from longstanding IWL Board member in May of 2017 to CEO. She helped co-found and was recently named President of the newly-formed Indianapolis chapter of Conscious Capitalism. The global movement also believes that businesses need more of the strengths that are considered more inherently feminine characteristics.
Active in the community, Kim has been a key contributor to the growth of IWL since 2011 and has been involved as a board member, conference chair, and conference emcee in both Indianapolis and Louisville. She has served on several other boards and has received several awards and recognitions. She is particularly interested in helping children in poverty and mentoring other women in their careers.
Kim is proudest of her role as mom to her two children, Brent and Brittany. Brent is a CPA who serves as Program Director for Community Development at Lilly Endowment. Brittany is a Sales Operations Specialist at Guidepoint Security, and she recently married Chris, an Associate Field Service Representative with Stryker. Kim is also crazy about her two grand-dogs, Penny and Pearl, and grand-kitten, Pat. Kim believes that life is an exciting adventure, even with its ups and downs, and that every day is truly a gift.
Kim’s professional mission: To grow good companies
Kim’s personal mission: To educate, inspire, and empower myself and others to live a life of integrity
