EWF Member Awards

Nominations for the 2025 Awards will open from May 1st and will close August 31st.

To honor and celebrate a decade of empowering, advancing, and recognizing women in the finance industry by showcasing the achievements of trailblazers, fostering community, and inspiring the next generation of leaders in the state of Indiana. The 10th-Anniversary awards will spotlight individuals who have not only excelled professionally but have also actively championed equity, mentorship, and innovation in finance.

The nominations will be for the following awards:

  • Woman of Distinction Award (board-appointed award)
  • Emerging Leader Award
  • Career of Excellence Award
  • Excellence in Mentorship Award

EWF Woman of Distinction Award

A woman who ‘lifts as she climbs’ and has demonstrated commitment to advocating for individual women’s advancement through the pioneering of a Central Indiana, female-focused finance organization. She’s a role model who inspires those around her to be more and do more. She is admired and respected for her resilience, leadership and humility. She supports EWF’s mission by developing professional growth opportunities, inspiring members to become leaders and decision-makers, and taking an active role in mentoring and supporting all women in the finance industry. THIS IS A BOARD-NOMINATED AWARD, SO THERE IS NO NOMINATION FORM.

Emerging Leader Award

An EWF member with less than 10 years of experience in the finance field who has set the standard of excellence in their professional lives through leadership, mentoring, and career achievement. This award honors a woman who, while still in the early stages of her career, is already making a significant impact on the industry through her client-centric approach to excellence, appreciation for professional development, and overall dedication to the long-term success of EWF. 

Career of Excellence Award

This award, created for women who have been in the finance profession for at least 15 years, focuses on an EWF member who has achieved notable career milestones and demonstrated success and leadership throughout her professional journey. This award celebrates a woman who has been committed to her professional growth and advancement within the field by earning professional designations and certifications and engaging in ongoing learning. Overall, the ideal honoree will not only achieve high levels of success in her career, but she also personifies leadership, community involvement, mentorship, advocacy, and integrity. 

Excellence in Mentorship Award

This award recognizes women who have acted as mentors to others in their field. The ideal honoree has shared her time and wisdom with other women in ways that could include career advice, navigating through their organization, or creating a culture of empowerment that allows women to advance and bring their authentic selves to work.

 Who is eligible: A current member of Executive Women in Finance who has demonstrated leadership in her career and the community.

How do I nominate: Only nominations submitted through the website will be considered. To submit a nomination, please use the links below.

What is the nomination deadline? The deadline is August 31, 2025.

How will the honorees be chosen: A committee of EWF members will choose the honorees for each award.

How will honorees be recognized: EWF will recognize the honorees at our 10th Anniversary Celebration on September 17, 2025, at the Ritz Charles

Can I nominate myself: Yes, you certainly can!

Will I be notified if my nominee is selected: The Awards Committee will notify nominees and their nominators if they are selected.
