Member Qualifications

All applications are subject to board approval.
NOTE: Individuals serving in a support capacity or assistant/secretarial position for a financial firm that do not have finance-specific job responsibilities are not eligible for membership. In addition, individuals whose professional responsibilities relate to or benefit the finance industry, or whose primary responsibility is selling a physical product or service (vendors, recruiters, etc.) related to the industry are not eligible for membership.
*Qualified Fields of Finance as referenced below include: Attorney/Finance Law; Accounting; CFO/Controller/Treasurer; Commercial Banker/Treasury Officer; Education – Finance; Financial Analyst; Financial Consultant; Investment Banker; President/CEO/Corporate Leader; Private Banker/Wealth Advisor; Venture Capital
Full Member Qualifications
Individuals eligible for membership include finance professionals with at least 5 consecutive years of experience, including full-time employment in a *qualified field of finance. We aim to reflect a wide range of executive-level positions in the finance profession.
Annual Dues: $375
Civic Member Qualifications
Individuals eligible for membership meet the same requirements as described for a Full applicant, except are currently employed in a local or regional government, other public agencies, universities, other educational institutions, or not-for-profit organizations in a *qualified field of finance.
Annual Dues: $250
Associate Member Qualifications
Individuals eligible for membership have fewer than five (5) years of experience in a position with finance-related responsibilities. Associate members must reapply for FULL membership once they reach 5-years of experience.
This category is limited to 10% of the total membership base.

Retiree Member Qualifications
Individuals eligible for membership include any person who was a former member of Executive Women in Finance preceding their retirement and/or has significant experience (not less than five years) in a *qualified field of finance preceding their retirement.

Executive Women in Finance’s success and growth is due, in part, to our commitment to the organization’s mission, values, and standards of business ethics. While a variety of opportunities are provided for business development to our members, overt solicitation, use of the membership directory for business development or marketing, or sharing of member information with non-members without the prior approval of the board of directors is strictly prohibited.
EWF membership is approved based on an individuals’ personal area of expertise, experience, seniority level, etc. These are qualifications specific to the person. Memberships are therefore not transferrable, in any scenario, to another individual, within (or outside of) their company. Furthermore, memberships are non-refundable and expire at the end of the calendar year. If the applicant’s company is funding the membership dues, the applicant must confirm that this policy has been communicated to, and approved by, the proper company representative.
